Slamson Ghana

Our Mission

Develop and adapt urban sanitation technologies to be appropriate for the financial, technical, and logistical capacities of low- and middle-income countries.

Use a circular economic approach to the business of waste so that the valuable by-products of treatment support local water, energy, and raw material needs and provide revenue streams for plant operations & investment payback.

Ensure that proper waste containment occurs along the entire sanitation value chain, and that reuse products provide a net environmental & social benefit.

Conduct a local market assessment before recommending a waste reuse model so that the treatment & reuse business is viable & sustainable in the long-term.

Partner with local capacity-building organizations to engage women as waste producers & entrepreneurs, promoting market feedback & behavioural change.
